Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the HiLo Media website and our services. By accessing or working with us, you agree to these terms.

1. Our Services

HiLo Media offers professional video production, animation, and post-production services. Projects are typically custom-quoted and follow a standard workflow, which includes discovery, scripting, production, revisions, and delivery.

2. Client Responsibilities

Clients are responsible for:

  • Providing timely access to materials, assets, or brand guidelines
  • Responding to feedback requests within a reasonable time
  • Reviewing drafts and delivering revision notes promptly

Unless otherwise agreed, projects include up to two (2) rounds of revisions.

3. Intellectual Property

Final deliverables become the client’s intellectual property upon full payment.

HiLo Media reserves the right to showcase completed work in our portfolio and promotional materials, unless the client explicitly requests confidentiality.

4. Payments & Refunds

  • A 50% deposit is required to begin work. The remaining balance is due upon delivery of the final files.
  • In the event of a cancellation, refunds may be issued for unused work only. Work already performed is non-refundable.

5. Disclaimers & Limitations

HiLo Media is not liable for:

  • Project delays caused by late client input
  • Issues resulting from third-party platform outages (e.g., Vimeo, YouTube)
  • Force majeure events such as natural disasters, power failures, or other interruptions beyond our control

All services are provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, express or implied.

6. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of North Carolina.

Any disputes arising from these Terms or our services shall be resolved through binding arbitration or mediation, as appropriate, before either party seeks legal action.

7. Changes to Terms

HiLo Media reserves the right to update these Terms. Updates will be posted on our website with a new effective date.
